Title:
Strawberry fields - Framed assemblage

Handcrafted in the Scottish Borders

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, pieces may vary slightly to those shown in photographs.

This prancing hare of copper sheet is surrounded by Autumn undergrowth of seed heads and dried flower heads made from silver and brass. Under foot is a small clump of wild strawberries created from buttons and beads. It is coated in crystalline verdigris and all assembled onto a piece of vintage china tea plate. The assemblage is mounted and signed on acid free off white card in a cream contemporary style open grain wooden box frame, 330mm x 330mm.

I quite often use song titles for inspiration to a picture and I love the idea of fields of wild strawberries with hares dancing around, I am not sure if hares like strawberries? But thank you to the Beatles for a lovely tune.
